This boho bridal shoot in Mauritius has been one of the most amazing projects from 2020, having the best vendors and models of Mauritius. Planning the shooting was complicated as we wanted to find the best location that would create WOW effect. Samuel David from SD hairstyle had the idea of the concept first and then contacted me so we could produce something different from the mainstream wedding photos we usually see from Mauritius above all.

We partnered up with the best local vendors team to create a one of a kind styled wedding shoot concept, having a different approach when it comes to wedding and bridal styling.

Sophisticated and elegant was the main motto of this concept but it was very important to keep the tropical and exotic mood, as the goal was to promote having a wedding in Mauritius. I also wanted to give a film, bright-airy look to the pictures to produce a timeless piece of art.

The wedding gowns from Neelam Bridal were selected with care; bohemian style wedding dresses, to make our models look effortlessly dreamy and evoking a sense of wonder. Additionally we had Kekoa Floral & Event Styling make the three bridal bouquets to match the mood and the location.

Two weeks before the photo shoot, Samuel and I went to the location for the first time. We wanted to do a quick site visit and have an idea about how the final look might come out. We were amazed about the spot! Huge cactuses forming this alley over a cliff. Hearing the wave crashing, and being in the west of Mauritius, you could watch the sunset over the sea. It looked like it was the perfect venue to have a boho wedding in Mauritius.
