Engagement Session
What I love about my job is to shoot at new epic location. Mauritius is surrounded with beautiful, long sandy beaches and blue turquoise lagoon, but I didn’t want to limit myself to only this. The island is blessed with a lot of astonishing wonders, such as mountain ranges, cliffs, waterfalls and forest. Therefore I wanted to have a photo trip by a waterfall in Mauritius.

Atish and Marketa are both wanderlust, sharing a love for adventures, chasing waterfalls and exploring the unique landscapes of Mauritius. So we went to Cascade Leon this time, a stunning waterfall within the indigenous outskirts of the Combo forest by the south of Mauritius. It is surrounded by a lush of greeneries and once you are there you can enjoy the breathtaking view of water cascading from 20 meters high.
We went there early morning, right after the sunrise. There is not many people there usually so it is quiet. We wanted to be the first one at the falls so we can enjoy the fresh water. The road leading to the top of waterfall however is quite rocky and bumpy so I would suggest to go in an Off-road car. We parked by l’Exil lodges, on the top of the canyon, and from there we hiked 15 minutes to our way down afterwards.
